Mary Todd Lincoln had two brothers in the Confederate Army. Both died in 1862.

One died at Shiloh, the other a few months later at Baton Rouge. I was checking on my Father in Law's grave and I noticed a Confederate flag. The light was interesting, so I walked over. That's when I noticed it was the grave of Mary Todd's brothers.

It's unusual to see this shade of green this close to August, but black and white is still more than enough to capture this summer.

I am so pleased with the performance of the Sigma 30mm 2.8. It really hits above its weight.

I've been using the high pass filter for sharpening my images. I like it better than other methods.

I've avoided using the high pass sharpening technique. Think I need to revisit it.
