was a tourist today

in my own little neck of the woods... sampled lots of good food

within a short drive of my house is Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory...



Cold Hollow Cider Mill...



Cabot Cheese visitors center...



Local Nursery where we tasted apples and cider! and bought 8 trees (Liberty, Cortland, Lobo, Beacon, Wolf River and Garland) to take home and plant...

It is always fun to be a tourist close to home. I always try to find places that I have never been, but should have---or places that I wasn't even aware existed. Looks like you had a fun day.

I've always wanted to have a contest on "roadside attractions" because I love minor tourist centers like this. The table of apples really catches my eye.

Probably our favorite area we visited this past summer while we were in Vernont!

I/we could definately relocate to Vermont in a heartbeat!
