At the moment (and this is somewhat dependent on the dates for the Spring seasonal contest), my plan is as follows:

Submissions: 6/10 - 6/16
Preliminary Round: 6/18 - 6/21
Final Round: 6/22 - 6/25

So, if you have appropriate photos in your files, now's the time to start digging them out; if not, get out there in the wide open spaces and start shooting!

3. Good, but the desert dweller has a leg up on this. I guess I could find an area

that has suffered mountain top removal. The horse farms in my region should be my destination.

Have you ever watched a teamster operation at a big rock show? It is a thing of beauty. They really know their shit.

21. When you live in the mountains

wide open spaces have a different perspective. I lived in the desert and it certainly has more wide open spaces than in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
