Related: About this forumHad to go back to Cherry Road!
I went a bit early for the blossoms last week because rain and wind were forecast, and we were out of town for the weekend anyway. But today was better, though still windy. The buds had come out and the blossoms were pinker. I lucked up and got my very best cherry blossom shot of the fallen petals in the drainage ditch.....
If you want to see pinker, fuller, cherry blossoms, and commentary, you can go to my blog. If not, the pic above is my fave anyway. However, it looked better before Photobucket did its thing with it!

(60,074 posts)If you ever get into Nashville, check out Radnor Lake. I saw my first Prothonotary Warbler there.

Celebration
(15,812 posts)I'll keep it in mind. The last two times my husband was there with meetings I 1. went to a movie, and 2. Saw a great art exhibit downtown--the Phillips Collection of American Art. I doubt if I see any birds there that I couldn't see here at either Shelby Farms or Shelby Forest. But the topography is slightly different. Usually he is not there long enough for me to actually hike around the lake, which is what I would want to do.
