We hope to get out there in the summer one of these years, maybe next year. I understand that the flowers and birds are exceptional in the summertime.

Yeah, I know it's quite a lot, but I figure if those guys and girls can drive their dog teams over 900 miles through the Alaska wilderness with wind, snow, subzero temperatures and everything else they go through, the least I can do is give them some photographic credit. That's why I like to make a point of getting out there to welcome them in, even at 3:00 a.m., even if they're in 50th place. It's a lot for them to go through for a $1,049 check.

the race and lots of links. I didn't even know Skinner deleted it. A big TY to Skinner. We aren't the strictest group but then we are used to people leaving their negative baggage elsewhere and being nice here. Would like to keep it that way.
