I went back to Berryessa to check on the ospreys. They were lying low
or flying high. No one was cooperating. This fine fellow, however, opted to give me hell from a tree.
And a couple of squirrelly friends tried to blend into the rocks.
Then I went to check on a client's house and found this little lady grooming and sunning herself on the side deck.
I sneaked out the back door to see if I could get a better shot. She was having none of that and hot footed down the path away from me. It's turkey season in these here parts in case you wanted to know.

But seriously, you thought you could get a better picture of the turkey? But I do love her strutting away from you.

(18,219 posts)From my experience, it was pretty funny to hope for it. That is a nice close up, even through the window.
Then again, you did a great job with the crow/raven, so you might have had good luck.
