food photography?

has anyone done any food photography?
ive been hired to shoot a menu for a restuarant. something ive never done before
heres my plan.
place the food near a window to use natural light
place a reflector behind the food
possible a dissfusser on the window depending on how bright it is
shoot from directly above. (Thats the view they want)

anything im overlooking?

Directly above can cause some food dishes to look flat and unappetizing.

Also, backlight. Not on all shots but it adds to many food photos. Makes the dish pop!

I can't remember his name, but he's developed a similar technique, particularly natural light. He might be able to give you a few more details.

I have not used it yet though.

Your plan sounds perfect. Good luck and show us you shots.
