has anyone done any food photography?
ive been hired to shoot a menu for a restuarant. something ive never done before
heres my plan.
place the food near a window to use natural light
place a reflector behind the food
possible a dissfusser on the window depending on how bright it is
shoot from directly above. (Thats the view they want)
anything im overlooking?

(90,785 posts)Directly above can cause some food dishes to look flat and unappetizing.
Also, backlight. Not on all shots but it adds to many food photos. Makes the dish pop!

(5,113 posts)thats why they want it from directly above. they sent me some samples of the look they want and for what they are paying me......
