Any photogs running Linux? My son brought me my new laptop last night

and it has Linux Mint for the OS. It will not run the Canon software for my cameras.

He installed Shotwell and I'm struggling with it. He also tells me he put on Rawtherapee and Darktable. He's coming over tomorrow so we can try them out.

Anybody running Linux that has found a not very complicated software editing program for photos that they like?

We ended up with gThumb. Seems fairly similar to the software that came with the Canon cameras.
