*** Kick off for the January Photography Contest ***

Theme for the January photography contest is "A New Beginning".
Interpret that as you will.

While you are encouraged to shoot some new images, feel free to dig into your archives.
Any level of post processing is allowed, but you are encouraged to keep it looking like a photograph.
One entry per person.

The standard full details and disclosures will be presented in the official kickoff on Jan 15.

Open submissions on Jan 15,
Start voting on Jan 22,
end finals on Jan 28.

Winner gets the honor of hosting the February contest.

Tomorrow would be OK too but Tuesday I'm going in for surgery and I won't be around till the end of the week. Who knows what kind of shape I'll be in!

I don't think host powers are actually needed, but having god powers temporarily is always fun (and dangerous)!
