Not a stick...

having a nice, warm sunbath!










Snowy and I were going out for our late morning walk and I noticed this black snake in my perennial bed which is in a terrace step down
from our driveway, and off to the right of our front door. Took Snowy back inside and grabbed the camera. He was really enjoying the sun!
Didn't move at all. Looks to be about 5 ft+ in length. First shot is taken from the rock garden between the door and the terrace.
Second shot I went up on the driveway and was shooting down.

He was gone when we got back from our walk.

Did see some/1 or 2 a few years ago, but didn't catch any pics. Will look now! It is WARM here, but won't stay this way for long.
