'Homeland' Recap: Tunnel Vision
By Alex Smith, Hollywood.com Staff|Monday, December 10, 2012

Brody heads over to Carrie’s home, and he explains that there was never a choice between picking who lived – Carrie or Walden. I don’t trust Brody. I don’t think Brody deserves our trust. Brody heads inside with Carrie as Quinn watches from his car. Estes told Quinn that the mission was still a go, and that it would need to happen soon. Quinn has a bullet for Brody, but will he use it? I don’t think Quinn will go through, mainly because there is no character on Homeland that could replace the massive scope of Brody’s character. I think we also need Brody around because he will carry on the legacy of Nazir... I think we also need Brody because he is about the run for President of the United States. I don’t care if you think I’m crazy. I’ll continue to hunt down the bad guys. Carrie will join me. We’ll be unstoppable. Did this episode fix last week’s problems? Not really. Did this week’s episode feature some thrilling sequences and make every relationship on the show that murky? You bet! I’m already crying because I can’t believe the finale is next week. My brain hurts.

Rolling Stone, Huffington Post, LA Times, etc.... and they all say the same thing the last couple of weeks.

The show---which has always been a bit implausible, has gone off the deep end of implausibility.

I love the show---especially Lewis and Danes, but the last two weeks have just been horrible regarding the story lines.

I see no way that Brody comes out of this alive.

Maybe he'll make a big escape with Roya Hammad back to Iraq and re-join al-Qaeda? How's that for a theory, lol?

And I'm a little pissed that Carrie is in love with a terrorist. They better change that shit!

But no matter what, I'm hooked on Homeland!

Homeland is running into the cartoon scenerio

(same thing happens to comedies like Married With Children after the 1st year)

all of a sudden everything is tossed at them, and they survive everything, making it impossible to believe, but you go along with the ride anyhow

Greedy are the people who make money, but also the fans
