Survivor Philippines - the person I wanted to win actually won

I started pulling for Denise in mid-season. She killed it in challenges, played a great social game and made great alliances. She played an awesome game and I am so glad she won. I was worried Skupin was going to get the Pete, Aras and Abbi vote since he really is the guy that beat them. The only surprise was AC, who should have voted for Michael.

1. Abi actually seemed rather congenial.

She said she learned something from this experience, maybe so. And Lisa used good judgement in not going overboard with open displays of her religion, as she revealed. I have to wonder if being outed as a former TV star cost her the top prize in the end, perhaps there were others who decided at that time she didn't need the money and changed their vote. I too am happy with Denise winning. She played a good game. Next season will be the audience vs veterans. I wonder how that will work?

3. I don't think Lisa had a chance

She was a floater for too long. She started to play hard in the end, but I think she was seen as a puppet in the beginning. Michael just annoyed people. Denise rocked. It was a good season. I imagine next season will be a lot like the old fans v. favorites season.

2. Survivor

I liked survivor in the beginning when it was people who really needed the money, it was truck driver's, nurses, waitresses, etc.... Hubby & I also thought Denise played a great game! Baseball player said he was going to get so much less money out of that million dollar's because of Obama. Isn't he already worth 60 million?

4. I like the game, I never let things like need factor into who should win a game

In the early years there were winners who were middle class like Tina and millionaires like Brian. that never mattered to me. As long as they played a good game and I enjoyed watching it.

The baseball player earned a lot in his career, I have no idea what his worth is now, but that does not matter to me.

5. Yes!!

I was also cheering for Denise from early on. I did like Malcolm, but something about Denise I liked more. She was such a fighter in the challenges, especially as she was a little older than a lot of the contestants, her efforts won my admiration. She is so little but determined, and seems to be a really nice person.

I had no major feelings about Lisa either way, but it kind of irked me at the finale, that Jeff kept going to her for comments. It was turning into the Lisa Show. And she didn't just give a short answer, it was always a long and drawn out explanation. I would have preferred to see Malcolm win the extra $100,000. I think he certainly was a better player than Lisa.

'Skoopin' mostly made me laugh. He seemed to think he had the game and possible options for play all figured out, but when you listened to his comments he came across to me as clueless. After they replayed the tribal council where Abi called him a moron etc, I thought Wow, she actually called it, he DID lose to Denise!

At least this was a better season than we've had for awhile. I hope the F vs F won't be a dud.
