Tim Kaine to rally Hillary Clinton supporters in Tucson on Thursday
Democratic vice-presidential nominee Tim Kaine will campaign in Arizona on Thursday, a day after the woman at the top of the party's presidential ticket, Hillary Clinton, visits the state.
The Clinton campaign announced Sunday that Kaine will appear in Tucson, noting his visit will come as early voting draws to a close. Clinton herself is scheduled to be in the Valley on Wednesday.
The campaign didn't provide details of the Kaine event's time and location but said people interested in attending can RSVP.
Recent polls show a neck-and-neck race between Clinton and Donald Trump in Arizona. The state's surprise emergence as a battleground in the presidential race has drawn unusual attention from the campaigns.
