Used to backpack here every summer. Yosemite will endure and be there for people long after the current crop of politicians have gone to their reward. Happy Birthday, Yosemite. Thank you for your real presence.

How fortunate we are to have the national parks, monuments and historical sites. Today on Fauxnews after telling us what small and unimportant parts of the government have "slimmed down" the last words were "Old Faithful is still going off." Sorry if you actually wanted to see it.
