Vote TORLAKSON for State Superintendent of Public Schools

Please stand with teachers this next Tuesday, June 3, and vote for Tom Torlakson as State Superintendent of Public Schools. Tom is a veteran teacher who is facing stiff opposition from fellow democrat and corporate reformer Marshall Tuck (what does a finance guy know about running schools again? Oh, yeah, just ask Eli Broad, Antonio Villaragosa, and Bill Bloomfield.) and republican anti-common core teacher Lydia Gutierrez (who has run for the seat and state senate before and lost in both races).

Torlakson is a long-time friend to education, dating back to his time in the state assembly. I have met with Tom on multiple occasions and have seen his good work come to fruition in the past couple of years. Our schools are heading in the right direction, and yet Tuck and Gutierrez are still selling the notion that our schools are in horrible shape and they will fix it. This is a very tight race. Torlakson will need all the help he can get to make the general election.

tell them to fix the audio. I listened through the whole thing and couldn't understand who they were promoting because the sound kept breaking up.

I don't know if it went out to all Dems, but I received their mailing endorsing Tom and other Dems in CA races.
