Casselberry Police Chief Bill McNeil resigns amid investigation
After 26 years on the force, Casselberry Police Chief Bill McNeil resigned Wednesday night after the city launched an internal investigation into alleged misconduct.
McNeil's resignation will become official as soon as the paperwork clears, city spokeswoman Sara Brady said Thursday.
The investigation was the result of an inquiry made by a reporter at WFTV, Brady said, "and the nature of the question was so serious, the city felt it necessary (to launch) an internal administrative investigation."
Brady would say only that the allegation involved misconduct.

do you want to hold up his retirement pay? sheesh, 26 years on the force, what's a little "alleged misconduct" among friends?
looks to me like it's in his favor, but I feel that way whenever these "public servants" get to keep everything when being investigated.
