A Hawaii delegate’s credentials were removed during the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia after she was seen sticking her middle finger during the roll call Tuesday night, the chair of the Democratic Party of Hawaii said.

Vandeveer said after consulting with the party leadership that was gathered on the convention floor, he decided he would revoke Kent’s floor pass for the evening and provide her an opportunity to apologize for her actions in exchange for being allowed to attend the rest of the convention.

Kent, however, declined to apologize. He consequently removed her floor credentials for the rest of the convention and said she would no longer be a part of the delegation.
