U.S. Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy III, breaking ranks with other Democrats who are trashing President-elect Donald Trump and boycotting his inaugural, is imploring his party’s rank and file to figure out why middle American voters went Republican in November.

“Somewhere along the way, we lost their trust. We have to get it back,” Kennedy said tonight, departing from many in his party who have sought to cast blame for the loss elsewhere.

Kennedy rallied roughly 160 Democrats in a high school cafeteria in deep-blue Newton, giving a brief outline of what he sees as the future of his party.

An important step, he said, is to find out why people voted for Trump, rather than reacting to everything he posts on Twitter.

1. Because of propaganda plus hacking to facilitate it.

People were duped. We have an enemy at our gates. Trump is not a Republican. He is a fascist. A dangerous one. You cannot politic your way out of it any more than the Italian resistance could politic their way out of the dictatorship of Mussolini.
Get their trust? The people we are trying to get to "trust" the Democrats are reprobate in their thinking. We are way past gaining trust.
I loved JFK and Robert and Teddy. But the name is not magical and a long trudge of convincing the unconvincable will not work.
Trump is now using the same language Putin is using against the press, the west and everything our country stands for. If you think Trump is beyond demanding the arrest of people in the press who do not tow his line you're kidding yourself. Trump hung and is hanging with mobsters. Jersey and NYC mobsters. There is no telling who has been offed by this man. He has so much money that can change hands so fast you would never know the money was used for a hit job. Not necessarily with guns. Accidents are so much easier. He knows mobsters in the cement business. Cement overshoes and cement slab graves have been common since cement was invented. It's not a myth. I have dealt with mobsters in the music business. Some are proud and brag about their exploits
He has no conscious. No empathy. He has been known to call his own children derogatory names. He wants sex his way. He wants business his way. His world view is warped, simplistic and childish. This isn't funny anymore. The enemy is at our gates and if something, anything is not done quickly we are doomed as a country and world leader. Putin the Murderer is loving the hell out of it. He doesn't want to just cause political chaos. He wants to own us. The world is at stake as much as our own countty.
