The gunman who opened fire inside a Minneapolis sign-making business killed four people before fatally shooting himself, police said early Friday.
The victims' bodies were found shortly after officers arrived at Accent Signage Systems Inc., located in a residential area in the city's north side, after receiving a 911 call Thursday afternoon, according to a statement from police spokesman Sgt. Stephen McCarty.
Four other people were wounded, including three critically.

From local news this half hour. The owner, an Israeli immigrant was killed. There were only about 35 employees total but they did business internationally.
They had enough police presence for it to be the IDS tower and the employees were ordered not to talk to news people. This business was honored recently as a small business success including the recent China Olympics My 2 cents: The over response and secrecy is highly unusual.

The police were unsure if there was more than one shooter and if the shooter was still in the building so they did a neighborhood lock down.

The gunman, an employee, had received a letter of reprimand "in the mail" but he was at work the whole time and had he gun with him.
He killed 5 people injured 3 more and took his own life. Police found wrappers for 100,000 rounds of ammunition at his Minneapolis home, so they are looking to see if there was some premeditation ie he was warned he might be fired. One of those killed was the 29 year veteran UPS driver.(deleted sentence with inaccurate information).
