My reply to Hubbard Broadcastings TV5 choice of features today.

Feature story today they chose today has to do with the effect on of Obama care on a small up and coming business that currently pays 100% of its young workforce health insurance. Because they were notified that insurance premiums were going up 10%, possibly more next year (when has that ever happened before?) employees might have to chip in.

Dear Bill,

There are so many stories to tell right now. ie Head Start closed down in Alabama but why are you telling a story of whining about a scaled down perk as a story of deprivation. They are healthy people working at a job they love and #may have to pay $50-150 a month insurance.

My hourly pay has been reduced by the Legislature twice and I am told I may never see a raise again.

I now pay part of the Medicare Premiums, $73 a month this year. We were notified that the changes coming with Obamacare I will be required to pay an additional $35 a month. I am more than grateful for the insurance that saved my life and those healthy young people are one car accident, one cancer, one MS diagnosis away from where I am out to be grateful for the they and their loved ones have choices now. Everyone tries to get the best deal for the money but those folks, that exceptional company, is not overpaying on insurance especially considering that minimally employed part time disabled people pay the same amount.

We are all lint his together and falsely pitting the upper Middle Class against the Poor is very poor form.

Just sayin.
