Look like we are finally getting our storm

All through the winter, the East Coast was getting 12" hits one after the other while we were having 6-7" hu-hum. Of course we had our arctic temp. From my experience, it can be too cold to snow..

And now it is coming with a vengeance. Still mixed with rain which was like needles on my face.

We decided to try to remove the 6" so far from our driveway, and tomorrow will do the rest.

Can't believe that on March 1st we will still have a low of -4!

Stay warm and if you have to, drive carefully.

Sigh.

We just had a tree snap in our back yard. Now with the wind picking up its downright treacherous. Still waiting to see if my office closes tomorrow. *crosses fingers* If not, the commute tomorrow is going to be HORRIBLE!

Stay safe and warm everyone!

Just shoveled the driveway again, but there's 6" in the street that the plow will shove into my driveway. Sill snowing and the blowing snow is settling into the driveway at a rapid clip.

They keep pushing the higher temperatures back. Now it won't thaw again till March 6, according to the Strib's 15-day forecast.

but with this storm we're getting the worst of both possibilities.

Today was so miserable and icy I decided I didn't even dare walk the block & 1/2 to the bus stop (and I would have used a PTO day before I tried to drive). I am so thankful for remote connections.
