Woolf expounds on support for Social Security and Medicare

WILLSBORO — Democrat congressional aspirant Aaron Woolf met with senior citizens and continued his campaign in defending the Social Security and Medicare systems.

Woolf was joined by Congressman Bill Owens, a fellow Democrat, as they toured Champlain Valley Senior Community and spoke with residents who encouraged him in his efforts.

“I remember coming to Willsboro as a small kid as far back as 1968,” Woolf said, as he reminisced with senior citizens.

He talked with Margaret Nolan of Jay about his time as a youngster visiting attractions such as the Land of Make-Believe. Learning to ski at Otis Mountain near Elizabethtown more than 40 years ago became the topic of conversation between Woolf and James LaBombard.
