NYC food cart vendor facing $600 in fines for hiking up hot dog prices for tourists: officials

That $30 wiener a downtown Manhattan food cart vendor was accused of selling could cost the frank fleecer more than $600 in fines, officials said Thursday.

First Precinct cops visited dog seller Ahmed Mohammed — who allegedly hikes up his hot dog prices when a tourist is in range — on Wednesday and slapped him with three violations, NYPD Capt. Mark Iocco tweeted
