Pregnant woman killed by plow in Brooklyn; Baby survives

BROOKLYN (WABC) -- A snow plow struck and killed a pregnant woman in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn this morning.

Authorities say the 36-year-old woman was struck in front of a store on Eighth Avenue near 63rd Street just before 10:45 a.m.

She was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center in critical condition and cardiac arrest. She died at the hospital.

Her baby boy was delivered through emergency caesarian section. He is in critical condition at the hospital but expected to survive.
