Two dead in murder-suicide at Ben Taub Hospital (Houston)

Two employees at the pharmacy at Ben Taub General Hospital are dead after an apparent murder-suicide, officials said.

The first call was made to police just after 2:15 p.m.

Witnesses said a man shot a woman, then turned the gun on himself, said Houston Police Department spokesman John Cannon. They were pronounced dead a short time later.

Both worked at the pharmacy, but their roles were uncertain. One may have been a pharmacy technician and the other a clerk, Cannon said.
