AFT Legislative Hotline: Coalition for Public Schools Symposium, Dec 2 at State Capitol Auditorium

The Lowdown on Vouchers: On December 2 the Coalition for Public Schools (in which Texas AFT is a member) will hold a symposium at the state capitol to examine the evidence regarding private-school vouchers and related policies—and then to look at research-based alternatives. The free event, billed as a Pre-Legislative Education Symposium, will be well worth the time of anyone who can make it to Austin on December 2. Here’s more information:
