(112,233 posts)The Washington County Commissioners Court could help bring new jobs to the county when they meet Monday with the approval of a tax phase-in for the Brazos Valley Brewing Company.
The brewery applied for a tax phase-in previously with the Brenham City Council, and was approved at Thursdays meeting. Josh Bass, the brewing companys chief financial officer, says the company hopes to be open by early June.

(112,233 posts)Brazos Valley Brewing was approved a tax phase-in plan by the Washington County Commissioners Court at this mornings meeting, completing the second part of the approval process.
The plan will allow for an abatement on property taxes, using a scale with jobs created and capital invested as the criterias for the criteria.
