Talk about taking a step backwards.
Last year, Ken Cuccinelli said that routine check ups should not be covered by your health insurance. His argument: Car insurance doesn't cover oil changes, so why should health insurance cover preventative care?
(Are your visits to the doctor just like stopping by Jiffy Lube?)
After we worked so hard to make sure that all Americans have access to health care, Cuccinelli wants to undo all of our progress.
Tell Ken Cuccinelli you don't agree with him on healthcare and that Virginians deserve a Governor with clear ideas to improve healthcare in the Commonwealth.
Yesterday, Terry rolled out his healthcare policy platform for Virginia that provides a crystal clear contrast with Cuccinelli's plans for the Commonwealth.
Just look at their stances on Medicaid expansion. While Terry fully supports it, Cuccinelli isn't willing to consider it.
That's a dangerous mistake. Expanding Medicaid would provide healthcare coverage for over 400,000 Virginians who don't currently have insurance that's coverage for 1 in 20 of our neighbors who need it. It would create 33,000 jobs. And it will return over $20 billion that Virginians paid in federal taxes back to the Commonwealth.
I'm not sure which part of that Ken Cuccinelli finds objectionable, but Terry knows that expanding Medicaid is right for Virginia morally and economically.
If you agree with Terry if you want to see a Virginia with more jobs and where more people have access to healthcare sign this petition telling Ken Cuccinelli he's got the wrong ideas on healthcare:

Do you have any links to Cuccinelli's exact quotes here? I'm trying to find what he actually said, and not having much success.
