Get ready to pay even more at the pump.
On Wednesday morning, a massive block of the world's oil producers announced plans to cut production, just as demand is rising.
Statewide, prices were up 2 cents from Tuesday, more than 20 cents since last week and more than 60 cents from a month ago.
The national average is only up 10 cents in the same period.

(4,394 posts)Got enough problems with rental housing, food, insurance, pet care, student loans for non-existent living wage jobs replaced by technology, and exorbitant taxes, you know, all those vices of modern living served by products in broken supply chains that I've so far survived fixing DIY...LOL! The big global "R" word is coming or worse--ever see the Walking Dead? EMPs take out 'lectric and thereby even the pumps for fossil fuel tanks, but for sure, the future that I doubt I'd survive very long if at all will be soooo bright, hot, and glowing. So many geniuses to get things rolling on Mars, LOL! Can we send enough of these megalomaniac stable geniuses up on a light-year trip before they totally ruin Earth in just a few big poofs?
