Who are the Walker and Burke Donors?

Sheboygan County residents are once again throwing their financial support behind Gov. Scott Walker as the Republican seeks re-election this fall.
Walker received nearly $80,000 from local donors between July and December of last year, according to a Sheboygan Press Media analysis of campaign receipts that were recently filed with the state Government Accountability Board. The amount is similar to what Walker raised here during the same period in 2009 when he first ran for governor.
The governor easily out-raised Democratic challenger Mary Burke, who received about $25,000 from Sheboygan County residents, though Burke first entered the race on Oct. 7 and had far less time to campaign.
Most noteworthy for Burkes campaign, perhaps, is that shes drawn significantly more financial support from Sheboygan County residents than Democrat Tom Barrett did back in 2009, when he raised just $1,200 locally after jumping into the race in mid-November. Barrett went on to lose to Walker in the general election and again in a 2012 recall...
