have tried to mount an effort to get represented on the School Board through an assault on Common Core and have even fielded a candidate for Mayor.

But it has been a feeble effort at best....

The Mayoral candidate kept up the mantra of "I'm Pro-Life, Pro-Gun and Anti-smart meter" as here reason for everything...even after she was reminded that the Mayor has little to do with any of that. (Smart Meters are controlled by the Independent Municipal Commission which the City cannot override.)

They haven't developed much traction as far as I can tell.

So I'm driving a couple of car-less friends to their polling place.

David Foster Wallace - ""In reality, there is no such thing as not voting: you either vote by voting, or you vote by staying home and tacitly doubling the value of some Diehard's vote."

Hoping for good results tonight. I had an uphill battle, but my opponents basically just put up signs and had a lit drop. However, they are the incumbents and I am the only challenger. We'll see.

Just sitting around waiting for results after weeks of busting my tail seems strange.
