1. A Bubble

I have to admit I am not all that surprised about the Chicago meeting. I am also not surprised that a special interest group like NARAL that had nothing to do with the protests last February and the reasons why Walker is being Recalled, wants to make an election about themselves. The WEAC endorsement of Falk is a disappointment to me. What has Falk ever done for educators in the past, the answer is that she raised a lot of educators and support staffs property taxes in Dane County that did not go to school districts. Vinehout has a great knowledge of rural school districts and how to reform the state funding formula.

Its still early, other candidates may jump in, but this article shows how much of a bubble the democratic establishment is in.

2. "The danger is turning the primary into a referendum on choice..."

That would be unfortunate. I hope the left can all pull together on this and beat Walker rather than fragmenting our support and risking a loss.
