silly me...an important flash drive took a ride in our washing machine

I didn't plug it in, but put it into a bag with rice and plan to let it sit for a few days.

Anyone else done this...is it likely to work???

Accidentally washed the drive and ran it through the dryer on low heat - worked just fine afterwards.
