Mircrosoft rip-off

So I got the Windows 7 Pro upgrade for $89 and it doesn't fucking work. Now I have a choice. I can spend hours doing their work for them or I can spend $259 for support.

Gee...... what should i do?????

No, LINUX or APPLE are not options

That price looks like the price for the version that is for upgrading Windows Home 7 or Windows Starter 7 to Windows 7 Professional. Do you have one of the two lesser versions?

My mistake. I followed the instructions. What I found is after you put in the key, instead of hitting the "Upgrade" button, go to shutdown/restart and the system will do the upgrade.

Silly me....

I initially had "are you sure you read the instructions" in the title of my response. I guess I should have left it there.
