My Adobe Flash Plug-In crashes over and over and over.
I remove the program, download it again and it works maybe once, maybe a couple of times, and then I can't get Adobe videos again. It just crashes.
I use Firefox with No Scripts, but I turn of the No Scripts if I want to watch a video.
What to do? Doesn't just happen with DU.

(37,457 posts)1. which browser ?
Also, I'd go to your default C: drive and delete the Adobe related folders. Which version of Windows ?
Once you've deleted all Adobe folders CAREFULLY so you don't muck up Windows, you reboot. Reinstall Adobe Flash. See what happens.

(38,613 posts)2. You can try disabling hardware acceleration, that's what worked for me
Right-click on the video and choose "Settings", then click the icon on the lower left of the little screen that pops up. There is a check-box called "enable hardware acceleration." Make sure it's UNchecked.
Good luck!!
