Does anyone use FIOS Mobile on their iPad?

I have downloaded it several times but it never works. I called tech suport and they were less than worthless on an iPad app.

Is it me or is the app actually non functional?

I can see programs but none of them will play. i get this very non-specific error message advising me to wait a while and then try again. I have been doing that every couple of weeks for more than two months.

It works OK for me, but is crash prone. I can watch shows on it. I suspect the app is a memory hog. You could try uninstalling, resetting your iPad and reinstalling to see if that helps.

I deleted the app (select it and when the black X appears on the upper corner of the icon, click the X to zap it), then I rebooted the iPad (hold the home and on/off button simultaneously until the device's Apple icon appears, then the gear, then it is rebooted).

I then reinstalled from the app store . . . . . except it might just be copying it from iCloud and not fetching a fresh copy from the app store.

Argh!

...twice when I've used it, it hopped off of our WiFi, and used up hundreds of MB of our data plan.

Somehow it connected to LTE and drew video from there. I've learned to cut off the cellular connection, when I use the app. Which isn't that often actually.

Buggy, unstable, untrustable.
