TargetPoint Nevada: Dead Tie (Hillary Clinton Group)

http://freebeacon.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/nv-toplines.pdf

538 gives this poll a fairly low weight, and given the questions, you can see why. There's a definite lean in the candidate questions.

They've also chosen 55% first time caucus-goers, a number that's not borne out by Iowa and New Hampshire.

Still, it's a starting data point and might assist Clinton in places where she could shore up her constituency.

Yea, bad poll. I think Hillary is more likely 20 points ahead, maybe more. leftofcool Feb 2016 #2
Yeah, that's very clearly a conservative push poll. Chichiri Feb 2016 #4

And the Washington Free Beacon is a conservative organization of very low repute. They are DEATHLY afraid of Hillary.

That can only be because it was literally released today, yes?

A weight of 0.42 is abysmal; extraordinarily good polls can sit around 1.5. If released at the same time, this poll would have less than a third the weight.

The only reason it's dominating the graph there is because it's literally the only recent poll in Nevada. It'll rapidly fall to irrelevancy, or become overwhelmed if any good polling comes out.

They only list polls which they consider professional done and legitimate.

If this poll is any indication, what with it being in the bag for Sanders and still can't pull it out in NV for him.

Nevada, at this point, does not seem to be in any danger of berning down. Although I do expect a somewhat closer contest than most people seem to--Clinton +5 to +10.

The first major blowout is SC, Clinton +20.
