LOL@BS.. Now he's tellling SL that he has a "friendly relationship with PBO"..

So he's talking to Spike Lee and all of sudden we're suppose to forget all he's said about President Obama and believe berni sanders.. and all his Surrogates have whined about Obama. Like Rosario Dawson said he was "a disappointment 2 months into his Presidency because he didn't use twitter".

Sanders touts 'friendly' relationship with Obama

snip//

We have a very positive and, I think, friendly relationship," Sanders told movie director Spike Lee.
Sanders spoke highly of the president and the legacy he will leave.

"This president will go down in history as one of the smartest presidents. Brilliant guy," Sanders said.

snip//

Sanders said Obama campaigned for him in 2006 and he worked on Obama's elections in 2008 and 2012. But he did note that Obama likely has a closer relationship with his presidential rival, Hillary Clinton

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/275330-sanders-touts-friendly-relationship-with-obama

"But he did note that Obama likely has a closer relationship with his presidential rival, Hillary Clinton"

"Likely"? What kind of BS is that? Didn't conveniently mention he wanted him primaried in 2012..

So BS is in Brooklyn trying to suck up to President Obama because he's finally figured out how popular he is when all he's done is diss him during his Presidency and out on the campaign trail.. him and his genius surrogates.

Now what is that called?

Sanders penned the book endorsement for "Buyer's Remorse: How Obama let Progressives Down" by Bill Press. "Bill Press makes the case ... Read this book," Sanders writes in a blurb featured atop the book's front cover.

Press' book, which is out a day after the Iowa caucuses on February 2, is about "the many ways President Obama has failed to live up to either his promises or his progressive potential," according to promotional materials
.

My main concern about Bernie Sanders is the fact that he was an independent his entire career and became a democrat just to run for President. Democrats would make a big mistake to nominate a person that views President Obama as a failure.

If a voter has a choice between a republican that hates Obama and a democrat that does not fully support President Obama...The republican will win every time
.

Cali-Dem says "sanders has always hated Obama".. so I guess hypothetically it would be between who hates him more.

Some background on that..

Thankfully it will never come to that. I'm waiting for some reporter to play back BS' denigrating quotes on PBO.. and ask him .. "Which is it.. friend or foe?.. make up your mind"

BS needed Obama to be not a good President for his "revolution".. now he needs to pretend that never happened because Obama is too damn popular.. especially in New York and California.

The pandering makes me sick.

Thank you!

Bernie's biggest mistake - (and there are many to choose from) - is that he doesn't understand that you can't suck and blow at the same time.

Throughout his campaign, he has tried to be the anti-Democrat and the Democrat's shining champion at the same time. He has distanced himself from - and then embraced - Obama and his policies when politically convenient to do one or the other. He has demeaned the Party for decades, and continues to do so - but then he wants Democrats loyal to that Party to support him.

Bernie is the guy who wangles an invitation to your home-cooked dinner, and then sits there and complains about the food for the entire meal. That's bad enough - but what's worse is that he doesn't have the intellect to understand why you're the one who's insulted, when it was YOU who prepared such a lousy dinner to begin with.

There's so many back and forths with berni.. one has to be careful of whiplash.. which mood he's in.. to disparage President Obama or to do revisionist history on how he's disingenuously dissed him over the years. The problem for berni is there's youtubes and documented proof from activists who witnessed it.

You don't want to have a President primaried on a whim.. he needed to dismiss Obama's successful accomplishments so he could have a reason for his "revolution".

He's sitting there in that talk sucking up to Obama and Spike Lee is just sucking it up.

It should be noted that everyone else at the dinner thought it was delicious!

that jacket blurb for the Bill Press book, and the fact that Press urged Bernie to run and had hosted that big meeting talked about in this article:

http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/03/bernie-sanders-2016-inside-213692

This is the last of the veryinteresting article:
"...If Sanders doesn’t win the nomination, that’ll be it. That’s what they decided at Bill Press’s house two years ago, and they’re sticking to it.
“My first question was, 'Is he running as a Democrat?'” said Ben Tulchin, the pollster that Sanders resisted hiring until Devine forced a meeting on him last fall, when Sanders was traveling through San Francisco.
“Tad said, 'Absolutely. We're not going to be Nader.’”
They’re already prepping the fallback plan: 10 areas, including killing Obama’s trade deals and changing the super-delegate process that they’re going to organize around and try forcing into the Democratic platform.
“Worst case, we’re going to Philadelphia with 1,500 delegates. Best case, we’re going to win,” Cohen said. “Either way, we’re going to change things.”

Whoa: Jane Sanders' Interview with Chris Hayes

Jane Sanders, who is married to Bernie Sanders, did an interview with MSNBC's Chris Hayes last night, and it was something. And by "something," I mean "super shitty."

Sanders: Well, the age of the Obama coalition was two thousand eight. This is two thousand sixteen. And we'll see either the Sanders coalition, or the Clinton coalition. Uh, I think that it's— You're absolutely right; we need to reach the, uh, the African American voter better. As I said, they're not that familiar with them—with Bernie. What we've done is, um, try to reach the working class voter, uh, the middle class voter, and not go, uh, not divide and, and, and reach out to individual sectors of the community. The Latino community, the African American community, the women, the men, the—the young. Um, but we have to do a better job on that. Um, and we know that, and we are going forward. I think if you look at the, uh, election results of yesterday, you'll see that we were—we had increased, uh, significantly with the Latino vote. Um, and in terms of the wide discrepancy, the same discrepancy holds true with Bernie against Clinton in terms of anybody under 30, no matter what race, what ethnicity—

http://www.shakesville.com/2016/03/whoa-jane-sanders-interview-with-chris.html

I can only guess that the BS camp is going around trying to wipe out their previous history disparaging President Obama because the geniuses there finally figured out their losing fucking votes because of it. Too late.

The White House came to the defense of Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton on Thursday, one day after rival Bernie Sanders charged that the former secretary of state is "not qualified" to serve as president.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One as President Barack Obama flew to Chicago, deputy press secretary Eric Schultz said that contra Sanders, Obama sees his 2008 primary opponent as a qualified successor.

Clinton "comes to the race with more experience than any non-vice president" in recent history, Schultz said, according to a pool report.

Schultz added that Obama was "fortunate" that Clinton agreed to become his chief diplomat after the two bitterly sparred during the 2008 primaries.

"The Obama Campaign Remembers 2012 Very Differently Than Bernie Sanders"

http://www.buzzfeed.com/evanmcsan/the-obama-campaign-remembers-2012-very-differently-from-bern#.nwLVmgXzz

Their take on Sanders’ role: In 2008, he got on board with Obama late. In 2012, he was either attacking the president from the left or doing little to get him elected. As for “vigorously” supporting him, they said, Sanders was not someone they thought of as a top surrogate.

“Every indication we had was that he was considering a primary challenge,” said one senior official from Obama’s 2012 campaign.

“Being annoying,” another said when asked to recall how they remembered Sanders in 2012.

A third senior Obama campaign aide from 2012 said Sanders was simply not often top of mind.

“Have no recollection of him being any kind of factor whatsoever, supporter or not,” the aide said in an email to BuzzFeed News.

What Bernie and Jane don't seem to understand is, there's this thing called the Internet. Which keeps stuff you say and write for a long time. And there's The Google (thanks, W!), where you can look stuff up and find out what you've said and written in the past. So, when you say something completely different, guess what happens? People start wondering if you're, well, lying. Or just pandering. In any case, not being honest.
