Has anyone pointed out how we cannot look at Sandinavia

as the "city on the hill?" a-la Sanders, that is.

One does not have to know much to realize that, first, Scandinavian countries are homogeneous. This is how Iceland managed to recover from the 2008 crash. It nationalized the banks and used other austere measures that in this county would not pass.

And.. its defense budget is a fraction of ours. After all, this is why NATO is there.

I think that both Trump and Obama have expressed similar opinions that "our allies" should start carry their weight.
