Police agents in Lara state, west Venezuela, captured Cristian Rafael Sánchez Padilla on Tuesday afternoon. Based on photos and videos, Sánchez, "Commander Nevera," Padillo is one of the chiefs of armed and motorcyclists' gangs that railed on Monday on both students and facilities of Fermín Toro University (UFT).

The suspect will be brought in the Attorney General Office, reported Lara state governor Henri Falcón.

"Commander Nevera" was caught in possession of Molotov cocktails, mortars with nails, "miguelitos" (metal arms made of a couple of crossed nails) and fireworks.

Last Monday, a group of subjects labeled by the state governor as terrorists set fire to Fermín Toro University.

A son from the PSUV Governor of Guárico state was one of the students participating in the protests, and was one of the ones captured by the police. Obviously the kid was let go almost immediately since he's family of one of the the "untouchables". Guess that makes him a filthy rich fascist too, right? Wonder if his daddy will ground him now for protesting against the government he supports. Maybe he'll send his kid to study at another country.

my mistake. I am thinking he will be studying in Cuba, Ecuador, or Nicaragua in the near future.

Sounds like more protests yesterday with police using love gas and peace pellets to break up the protests. 3 months and counting and frankly I didn't think this will go on and on. then again, the misery of chavista rule goes on and on.
