The President of Bolivia Evo Morales praised the Greek people for the outcome of Sunday’s critical referendum, arguing that it was a 'defeat of European imperialism'.

Mr. Morales told the ABI news agency that the Greek people’s triumph was a defeat for European imperialism and stressed that it signaled the beginning of the liberation of the Greek people.

Bolivia has yet to participate in the global lithium economy. Today most of the world’s lithium carbonate (the main component used in batteries) comes from smaller reserves in Chile and Argentina, where a few giant firms dominate the market.

Why would the Bush family always act like twins of different mothers? Look to Paraguay.

discussed the idea that Bolivia wants to make certain when it starts selling litium, it will be done correctly, so the country will retain control of the business. It appeared that they are being very careful in looking long and hard at any and all companies which have shown interest in becoming partners with them.

Evo is completely committed to making sure Bolivia will be getting a safe, decent agreement first, and not allow foreign interests to get the advantage, which has happened in so many countries with corrupt politicians making the deals for them.
