A judge on a South American version of Britains Got Talent has allegedly been sacked after she scolded a 16-year-old contestant for not believing in God.
The clip was uploaded onto social media and shared thousands of times, causing a furore among outraged viewers in Ecuador when it first appeared back in September.
Young hopeful Carolina Pena, 16, hoped her singing abilities would be the topic of debate in front of the judges on Ecuadors Got Talent but instead she was given a lecture for her lack of religious beliefs.
The bust-up happened when one of the four judges, actress Maria Fernanda Rios, asked the youngster "Do you believe in God?", after she finished her performance.
