Slightly OT but the Boston Globe is at it again.

We know how snarky and nasty concerning Kerry. Let be known that it is not just Kerry. They went after Patrick at the beginning of his first term (drapes, Cadillac, ...). Seems now they are going after Warren for just as futile a reason.

The Boston media is in a snit that Elizabeth Warren didn't perform on demand. Well, not all of it.

Brian McGrory is in high dudgeon today, chastising the senator-elect for being a woman of few words at a post-election news conference.
It was Warren’s chance to rest her elbows on the podium, tell the gathered crowd that she’s never felt this exhausted in her life, and then share a bit of her exhilaration over the prospect of standing up for the working class in the most important deliberative body in the world, talking points aside
.

Her crime: not answering media questions with a lot of details, which gives us not only an editorial, but a front page above the fold article, titled "Warren Holds Back with Reporters".

Note for those who do not know the Boston Globe. It is not because of Warren's political positions. It is because this is how the Boston Globe is. They have a sense of entitlement. I feel for her because she has not gone through this yet, but she can get advice from our Governor and Senior Senator on this issue. They have been and still are targets of these stupid articles.

Added: Interesting how the tone is different in right leaning Sentinel & Enterprise, which endorsed Brown

No, it is not dislike for Warren. It is just the natural snark of the Globe for any Democratic elected official whose last name is not Kennedy.

and they openly disliked Warren. Joan Venocchi will regularly slam her, Brian McGrory (who has traded on his Aunt's name from the start) will too. The Globe hasn't been The Boston Globe since the NYT corp bought it. NYT corp ruins newspapers.

These columnists love a politician that won't stop talking to them. They want someone that can't resist getting in front of a microphone and spilling their guts to them.

It's not Elizabeth Warren's style. They're used to Scott Brown staging a photo-op every 24 hours.

She will go to Washington and do her job with dingity and competency.

I'm from CO. But my Dad and his family are Chicago Irish. But I occasionally work with Boston Irish. Totally different from Chicago Irish. Boston Irish tend to be downright mean sometimes. Is this a Boston Irish thing? Or is this just a Boston thing? Because I get that snark from them all the time.

I'm not trying to be rude or alienate. I just have had bad experience with Bostonians. It's probably a clashing of Colorado attitude vs Boston attitude. But what that reporter wrote has pretty much been my experience with Boston people. In other words, I just thought that's how people from Boston were.

She has been on the news/publicity circuit for several years now.

Which, come to think of it, was pretty smart on her part, to be in the public eye in the role of
calling out the bankers. Made for a lot of face recognition when the time came to run for office.
