Beau Biden was on Morning Joe this morning

Its good to be reminded that he along with other attorney generals are still fighting to hold people accountable for the financial crisis.

He is really a remarkable person.

1. And just as nice in person.

I was able to talk with him for quite a while when his father was in town. Not only is he a nice, polite young man, but he has a passion against injustice. He kind of reminded me of Bobby Kennedy when he was explaining his position on a subject we were discussing.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the WH some day.

2. Oh, that's so good to hear

The whole family seems to be exceptionally decent and honest. Joe and Jill did a great job raising their children.

I would love to see Beau in the White House. He's definitely headed for higher office.

3. I wish Joe Biden was one of my uncles. I have such a good feeling about him.

How someone so honest lasted so many years in politics is beyond me, but I'm glad he did.

5. I'm glad they're still pursuing this. Wow. Something is BIG NEWS for a few days

then it's gone! I was thinking that today about Trayvon Martin.

Beau is fighting the good fight, just like his dad.

6. I know what you mean about "big news"

There have been so many major news stories, it is often hard to keep them up front. Look how quickly the tsunami in Japan and their nuclear reactors just faded away even though it is still an important story. I just happened to see a news crawl that said Japan shut down its last reactor, making them nuclear free for the first time in over 40 years. I thought that was a pretty big story.

Meanwhile, we get the same stories repeated all day, sometimes for days, instead of getting a reasonable mix of what is going on in the world.
