Global Mean Sea Level as measured by NASA surged almost 12 mm between April and October last year

1. Just for the record, 12 mm is 1.2 cm. 2.54 cm 1 inch.

So that rise was a little less than 1/2 inch in 6 months, or close to 1 inch per year.
If that rate of rise continued, it would be close to 1 foot in 12 years, or about 2 feet by 2050.
This is about double the current scientific projection on global warming.
Hopefully we don't see a continuation of this rate.

3. I think there is an annual cycle on top of the seasonal one

I think sea levels might get higher in the northern summer and lower in our winter as more of the southern ice is on Antarctica, where lots of our ice is on the Arctic ocean. But it is worrying if the rate of sea level continues to increase. 5 or 10 feet of sea level rise will be massively chaotic to world civilization.
