What he says, around 5:25, about too much tv is right on. The people I know who watch the most tv, who quote their favorite shows and talk about celebrities, are the ones in the most denial about the future. They're the same people who see no use in animals except to eat them.

about great-grandchildren, and responsibility beyond that of "preparing for the end". Doesn't that kinda rock your boat of doom, GG?

However, there may be no hope of stopping climate change, no policy that will be effective at slowing the growth train, or enough grandchildren to go around...

But we will still have community (soup kitchens), friends (in need) and family (funerals).

I would venture to guess that it's not a question of being too late for the truth, but whether truth will even be allowed to be spoken aloud.

At some point, it won't.
