$42M in Eastern Bank loans to build solar farms in Massachusetts (17 MW)

http://www.bizjournals.com/boston/news/2013/07/16/eastern-bank-solar-farm-loans.html

Five solar energy farms will be built in Massachusetts and New Jersey with $42 million in financing from Eastern Bank.

Four of the developments are planned for Massachusetts and are expected to generate 17 megawatts of electricity, enough to power 2,500 homes each year.

Three firms received financing: Mark Investment Inc., of Newton; Kearsarge Energy LP, of Watertown; and NuGen Capital Management LLC, which is based in Rhode Island.
Mark Investment plans to develop two solar farms, one in Andover and one in Fall River. Kearsarge is working on a project in Hubbardston and NuGen is developing a project in Swansea, as well as one in New Jersey.
