Rally in North Miami Beach draws Israel supporters

Thousands of local community members gathered at the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center in North Miami Beach on Nov. 25 to express their solidarity and their hopes for peace for the people of Israel during this time of crisis.

This solidarity rally featured speakers including both Democratic and Republican elected officials and civic and business leaders and musical performances by students of the Rabbi Alexander S. Gross Hebrew Academy in Miami Beach. It was organized by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and its Jewish Community Relations Council along with the Rabbinical Association of Greater Miami, the Consulate General of Israel to Florida and Puerto Rico and synagogues, day schools and Jewish community organizations throughout Miami-Dade County.
