A Facebook page which posts photo shoots of male models to a generally gay audience was suspended on Friday afternoon after an image was singled out for being inappropriate...
Some may have thought the image of Leo Silva posing almost au naturel, taken by Brazilian photographer Antonio Bezerra, had a certain je ne sais quoi.
But Facebook initially disagreed, saying it contravened the community standards rules in its Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, and delivered a coup de grâce, temporarily revoking LHomme du Jours administrative rights on Friday.
Ray Clark, the pages administrator, told PinkNews.co.uk at the time: I think that the removal of this image is outrageous, we live in a modern society where people (and especially women) are allowed to wear even skimpier and even less than what is shown in this image. This image contains no nudity nor is it sexually suggestive.

I dunno... looks good to me...
I'm not a member of the facebook group, but I always find it fascinating how freedom of speech issues online affect our community.

I've seen people wearing that or sometimes a little less walking down my street! And I live in redneck heaven!

(135,425 posts)At least this lad's in shape and all his bits are where they belong.
There's nothing more disconcerting than an old fella who is wearing a sweater--no, wait, that's not a sweater, he's just a bit hairy, now--in his speedo that he's owned since he looked like the lad in the pic, that's all stretched, frayed and worn, so every time he moves he provides the unsuspecting beach-goers with a bit of a gonad display and a generous view of his buttcrack!
I don't understand why that is censored. It's a bit provocative, like most pin-ups are, but so what?
