but I thought it telling that certain DUers who seem to stir up shit on all manner of topics found it necessary to come onto that thread and make mocking, sexist remarks and express complete approval of the ad.

On the bright side, my Ignore list is a little bigger now.

be a real ad, but, in the brief glance at the replies, I see that it is (do not have the stomach for looking at the others yet, have not yet had sufficient caffeine)

yes, it is offensive, and so are many of the replies. can see I have some work ahead of me this morning.

the sexism on this supposedly democratic, progressive board makes me want to resort to poppets again. siggghhh.

usual suspects, not much surprise in some of the responses. have had encounters with several of them in other threads, and have given up even trying to talk to them.

will be calling playtex, glad there is a number to reach them. again, when I first saw that, could not believe it was a real ad (yet another reason to know that "mute" and "back" on the remote are two really important inventions)
